Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Full Service and Lite?
Both Full Service and Lite are the exact same wedding photographic coverage. The two main differences is that Full Service includes the photographer to sort out all of the images and will edit all remaining images the photographer deems the best to our high-quality standards. This process will 1-2 months to sort out and edit the images. The Lite package is our most budget friendly package where you will receive the same photographic coverage; however, you will receive all of the image on the same day. These images will be unedited images and the client(s) will be responsible for sorting out and editing of the images. These apply for Engagement Session and Bridal Session.
What is the difference between Lite and Lite Advantage?
Both Lite and Lite Advantage are the exact same wedding photography coverage. The difference is that the Lite Advantage package is the photographer will provide all unedited images with a proof mark on the images. Delivery time is one week. The client(s) will have the opportunity to sort out which images he/she/they want to edit and the photographer will edit those specific images. This gives the client(s) the ease to sort out all of the image at his/her/their convivence. Each image edited will be $5.00 USD per image. The Lite package is all unedited images that night without a proof mark. The client(s) will be responsible for sorting out and editing of the images. These apply for Engagement Session and Bridal Session.
What is the expected timeframe of delivery for digital images?
Every wedding is different and depending on the amount of hours of coverage it will be more or less time to sort out, edit, print, and deliver the images. It is expected for the Full Service packages to be approximately 1-2 months to receive the images. Lite packages are same day delivery. Lite Advantage is 1-2 week delivery.
Can I add a second photographer to any package I choose?
Yes, the client has the option of choosing to have a second photographer to any Full Service, Lite, and Lite Advantage for the wedding ceremony. A second photographer might be used during the engagement or bridal session to aid the main photographer only (not to photograph) at no additional cost to the client(s). This is subjected to the main photographers discursion regarding the engagement and/or bridal session.
Are there any discounts if I hire either a photo booth and/or event lighting rentals?
Yes, we do offer discounts for both services. Depending on your wedding needs, we will create a custom discounted package for both the photo booth and event lighting rentals.
Is there a retainer cost for the wedding packages?
Yes, we include a retainer cost for all wedding packages. The retainer cost is $100.00 USD. It is not an additional fee but a down deposit to secure your wedding for that specific day. For example, if two clients want our photographic service on the same day whoever pays the retainer fee first will officially lock in that day. We require this when booking our services because when booking a wedding months or years in advance anything can happen (ex. breakup, death, etc). This is non-refundable.
Are there any additional fees for an engagement and/or bridal session?
Depending on the location the client(s) would like to have the photographic session, there may be attritional fees. Some places may require to pull a permit. For example, some parks and beaches depending on the municipality may require a permit. This may include but not limited to parking fee and/or toll roads. Also, some public or private property may require us to add themselves to what is called a blanket liability policy. This is where the property owner wants to be added to our general liability policy if something happens during the photographic session. All permits and/or fees will be acknowledge before the booking of the engagement and/or bridal session so the client(s) is not surprised on arrival.
If the bridal session is done in our studio then there is no additional fees.
If the bridal session is done in our studio then there is no additional fees.
Is there state sales tax for any photographic service(s)?
Yes, there is state sales tax on all photography services. The Florida Department of Revenue requires all photography services because the digital file is considered a tangible product. This tax applies to all prints and albums. 2023 Florida state sales tax rate is 6%. Discretionary sales surtax (also called county tax) is imposed by many Florida counties and applies to most transactions subject to sales tax. The Florida Department of Revenue collects both taxes and distributes the surtax back to the counties. The discretionary sales surtax rate depends on the county. To compute the sales tax rate for each county, add the local option surtax rate to the general sales tax rate. For example, if the wedding is photographed in Pinellas County the surtax tax is 1%. However, if the wedding is photographed in Hillsborough County the surtax tax is 1.5%. We will calculate the tax you owe before you hire us.
