The launch of our photo booth business; literally and metaphorically. The Apollo Booth is the most classic design we offer giving a slim and sleek look for any event. It features an 18 megapixel DSLR camera, 32 inch touch screen, and photographic strobe to capture high resolution images. The Apollo Booth can produce 3 color or black & white still images including a custom footer and will print out a 2x6 inch strip in 15 seconds. For events with children, the Apollo Booth can be half the height and stand on a table to be suitable for children height. The Apollo Booth is our workhorse and has withstand the test of time.
Behind the creative name
During the Cold War (1945 - 1991), the USA and USSR was at odds with each other and one such race was in the space race. With many firsts by cosmonauts like the first satellite (Sputnik 1) on October 4, 1957, first lunar probe (Luna 2) on September 12, 1959, and first man in space (Yuri Gagarin) on April 12, 1961. The USA was seriously behind the USSR. The Apollo missions were to have the first successful man on the moon with the tragic loss of 3 astronauts (Virgil Grissom, Edward White, and Roger Chaffee) with Apollo 1 on Jan. 27, 1967. On July 16-24,1969 with Apollo 11, the USA was successful on being the first and only nation to have the first men on the lunar surface; Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, and Michael Collins, command module piolet. NASA continued with landing more astronauts on the moon with its last mission of Apollo 17 in December 7-19,1972.
As the first photo booth we have successfully launched in 2015, we give tribute to the astronauts, scientists, engineers, and all staff of NASA by naming our first booth the Apollo Booth. Also, the Apollo Booth looks similar to the Saturn V rocket towering at the launch pad ready to capture the excitement of guests in the photo booth. Hense the name Apollo Booth. |
